Summer Ice Spectacular
Wild Rose Ice Theatre are making a very welcome return to Eastbourne’s Congress Theatre with a brand new ice show, Summer Ice Spectacular. Being created exclusively for Eastbourne audiences, this summer extravaganza runs from Thursday 25 August – Sunday 4 September.
For the second time this year, and with the help of 14 tons of ice, the Congress Theatre will be transformed into an ice-skating arena when the cast of Summer Ice Spectacular come gliding into town.
Following the success of their previous productions, including Snow White on Ice, Cirque De Glace and Peter Pan on Ice, Wild Rose are embarking on a new and exciting project in association with Eastbourne Theatres. Taking West End, Broadway and Movie musicals as their inspiration, the International Ice Stars are joined by a live band and vocalists in a dazzling production that blends world class ice skating with some of the greatest songs and melodies ever written.
With choreography by the outstanding Cavaliere Giuseppe Arena, the production will be filled with heart stopping moments from musicals including Phantom of the Opera, Grease, Wicked, Starlight Express plus music from some of the classic MGM movie musicals. Summer Ice Spectacular promises glitz, glamour and stunning skating, which is certain to mesmerise audiences of all ages.
Summer Ice Spectacular is at the Congress Theatre from Thursday 25 August – Sunday 4 September. Tuesday – Saturday 7.30pm, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday matinees 2.30pm.
