Sunshine coast freezes over!
Cool down at the Congress Theatre this summer when Summer Ice Spectacular glides into town at the end of August.
Rehearsals have begun for Summer Ice Spectacular and Eastbourne audiences are being treated to an exclusive show, when they bring this brand new production to the Congress Theatre, ensuring summer entertainment will never be quite the same again.
Following the success of their previous productions, including Snow White on Ice, Cirque De Glace and Peter Pan on Ice, Wild Rose Ice Theatre are embarking on a new and exciting project in association with Eastbourne Theatres. Taking West End, Broadway and Movie musicals as their inspiration, the International Ice Stars are joined by a live band and vocalists in a dazzling production that blends world class ice skating with some of the greatest songs and melodies ever written.
With choreography by the outstanding Cavaliere Giuseppe Arena, the production will be filled with heart stopping moments from musicals including The Wizard Of Oz, Grease, Wicked, Shrek, Phantom of the Opera plus music from the classic MGM movie musicals. Summer Ice Spectacular promises glitz and glamour not to mention stunning skating.
Providing the perfect tonic to a hot summer day, Summer Ice Spectacular is certain to mesmerise audiences of all ages.
Summer Ice Spectacular is at the Congress Theatre from Thursday 25 August – Sunday 4 September. Tuesday – Saturday 7.30pm, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday matinees 2.30pm.
