It’s that time of year again when independent market research firm Howard Warwick Associates releases its annual patient satisfaction survey results.
The Sussex Newspaper has been told that East Grinstead’s McIndoe Surgical Centre has been awarded an overall satisfaction score of 99.79 per cent by its patients.
The survey was carried out between January 1 and December 31 2011, and found the private hospital received 372 completed patient questionnaires throughout that period and 99.7 rated overall quality of care as good, very good or excellent.
It measured patient satisfaction across a broad range of criteria including patients’ overall impression of admission, consultant care, anaesthetists, theatre staff, and accommodation and whether patients were treated with respect and dignity. Overall nursing care also received a rating of 99.7 per cent and the consultants a 100% mark!
Jo Nolan, Executive Director at McIndoe Surgical Centre , said, “The team here at the hospital are dedicated to providing our patients with the high standards of care and our patients tell us they are particularly appreciative of their efforts. We are all very proud of our hospital and we make it our priority to work hard to make each patient’s time with us as comfortable as possible. We take feedback from our patient survey very seriously and will continue to make improvements to our patient journey.”
